BREAKING:The Defense Headquarters confirm that more than 50 terrorists were killed by troops.

In three weeks, the Defense Headquarters claims that its troops eliminated over 50 terrorists in a variety of operations in the North East and North West theaters of operation.

Maj.-Gen., the Director of Defense Media Operations, This was mentioned by Musa Danmadami when he told reporters in Abuja on Thursday about the military’s activities across the country.

Between December 30 and January 12, according to Danmadami, the troop of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) eliminated at least 25 Boko Haram and Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists in the North East.

During that time, he stated, the troops also apprehended 21 logistics suppliers, two foreign informants, and five kidnappers across the theater.

According to Danmadami, the troops also freed 47 civilians who had been kidnapped, and 377 Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists and members of their families, including 52 adults, 126 women, and 199 children, surrendered to the troops.

He stated that the appropriate authority was given all items recovered, criminals apprehended, and civilians rescued for further action.

The terrorists who were apprehended and those who surrendered along with members of their families are being profiled in preparation for further action.

“Overall, troops have recovered 21 AK47 rifles, four FN rifles, three locally manufactured pump action guns, five locally manufactured pistols, and three PKT machine guns within the past three weeks.

“A 140mm bomb, 29 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition, 124 rounds of 7.62mm NATO, and 139 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition were also recovered.

Three RPG tubes and bombs, 36 hand grenades, five Dane guns, five FN magazines, 19 drums of Automotive Gas Oil, and five drums of Premium Motor Spirit were also recovered.

“Also recovered were 10 crates of soft drinks, 10 bags of various grains, 150 pieces of used clothing, 50 pieces of women’s fabrics, 50 pairs of children’s wear, and 30 pairs of women’s footwear.

He stated, “Other items include textile materials, medical supplies, 21 motorcycles, 16 bicycles, two grinding machines, one tanker loaded with PMS, 30 rustle cattle, the sum of N938, 580.00, and other sundry items.” Additionally, “Other items include”

Danmadami said that a series of air interceptions at the camps, enclaves, and hideouts of terrorists also killed a lot of them and destroyed their enclaves in the Borno and Lake Chad area.

He added that the battle damage assessment revealed that the strikes had destroyed several terrorists’ structures and neutralized several terrorists.
