Lead representative Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has coordinated the destruction of shanties in Nkpogu, Port Harcourt, the state capital.
The shanties are accepted to be an area where phony filtered water, carbonated beverages and cocktails are created.
The Governor, who provided the request during his visit to the space on Sunday, said the state government will gain the land, which as per him, hoodlums use for their exercises.
Lead representative Wike told writers that he had gotten tenable insight reports that some criminal organizations engaged with the creation of phony beverages were working there.
As indicated by him, a few people have been burdened with lethal illnesses after honestly buying counterfeit items delivered by the lowlifes working from the Nkpogu shanties.
In a way that would sound natural to him “In the event that you take a gander at the space where we are, it is a criminal refuge and I won’t sit around idly quickly to obliterate the region. Indeed, this will happen in the
next two days.”
Talking about the “unhygienic” nature of the climate, he said: “I can’t really accept that that individuals can turn the entire Port Harcourt to a cabbage city rather than a Garden City. It is unsatisfactory to me. Like I have consistently said no choice you take will be positive for everyone. Yet, all things considered, one will take
the best choice and the best thing should be finished. We are going to clear this load of shanties.”
