Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has said that if an Igbo becomes Nigeria’s president in 2023, he will know how to end the current crisis in Nigeria.
In an interview with Channels on Tuesday, Abaribe said that if the presidency falls on him, it will only take six months to change the situation in Nigeria.
He went on to say that the government of Muhammadu Buhari had shown that it could not control all the different factions in different parts of Nigeria.
Abaribe gave an example of how the government has handled youth issues in the Niger-Delta region, during the tenure of President Umaru Yar’Adua and Goodluck Jonathan.
Regarding Mr. Nnamdi Kanu’s, Abaribe said he was not sorry for his support in 2017. He also said that he would support Kanu again when he came to court.
