Under the command and leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu KANU, we, the global family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), wish to distance ourselves from the covert plans to attack banks in Abia State or other states in Biafra while masses are looking for new currency notes.
The M-Branch of the IPOB intelligence unit has learned of criminals’ plans to invade banks in Abia State and blame IPOB and ESN agents, claiming to be disciples of Mazi Nnamdi KANU.
We are disclosing to the general public that IPOB was not a part of this plan, and we neither encourage nor condone criminal behavior. Biafrans should hold Autopiloters who claim to be MNK disciples accountable in the event of an attack on a bank in the East because they have committed other crimes.
Regardless of that; We are going to kill them because they have decided to use their criminal plans to extort IPOB and ESN Operatives. We cannot afford to participate in activities that will exacerbate the suffering of the people against whom we are fighting.
This intelligence was released in advance by the M-Branch of the IPOB intelligence unit to inform our people that they should be prepared because they have devised another method to oppress our people. The alleged sit-at-home orders have not succeeded; Their contractors want them to adopt new tactics that are also doomed from the start.
We made this intelligence available to the public so that our people would be aware of the imminent danger, which will manifest itself in a variety of ways against our innocent citizens. As a result, we appeal to all Biafrans to resist any attempt to attack and destroy Igbo Land’s banks. In times of protest or war, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has repeatedly cautioned our people not to vent their rage at banks, churches, schools, or markets.
Our enemies will use any bank attacked or destroyed in Biafra land to justify why our people will not be able to access their money from banks, and our people should be aware of this. While other ethnic groups can protest and destroy banks without being punished by the Nigerian government, Biafrans, particularly Igbos, are plagued by wickedness and bloodshed.
Our people need to control their emotions and understand that the issues surrounding Biafra freedom transcend emotions. Everyone wants Biafra to happen quickly, but we must be careful not to play into the hands of our enemies, who are already weak and frustrated.
To comply with IPOB’s instructions, our people must be prudent. As a result, no prudent Biafran should join or support an attack on a bank in Biafra Land, particularly in Aba, Abia State.
