Don’t allow PDP return to power, Tinubu tells Nigerians

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress’ presidential candidate, pleaded with Nigerians on Saturday not to let the People’s Democratic Party return to the country’s resources. He asserted that the party mismanaged the opportunity it had during its 16 years in power.
In a swift response, the PDP Presidential Campaign Council instructed Tinubu to prioritize his health over attacking the party.
During a campaign rally held at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, Tinubu pledged, if elected, to implement progressive governance in education, health care, and employment generation.
He took a swipe at Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate, describing him as an experienced candidate who should rest at home.
He stated, “Atiku contested in the PDP, he contested in the Social Democratic Party; When we freed him from Obasanjo, he ran for office in the now-defunct Action Congress of Nigeria. He is currently running again for PDP.He ought to rest at home.
“Atiku has been going fast.Utilize your PVC (extremely durable elector cards) to remove him and his party. This time, use your votes to remove him from office for good. The ruthless and illiterate band of Peoples Destroying People must never again approach our nation. They were in charge for sixteen years, but they had no memory of the Second Niger Bridge, the East-West Road, or the Badagry Expressway.
He expressed gratitude to the President, Major General Muhammadu Buharifor his dedication to the growth of Lagos State and Nigeria.
Additionally, he urged residents of Lagos to re-elect Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu as the state’s governor.Dear Lagosians, I am writing to ask you to extend the four-year terms of Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat’s terms.Don’t let the bold vision you’ve had for more than two decades be put on hold or carried out in vain.
Speaker of the House of Representatives Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, vice presidential candidate Senator Kashim Shettima, chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum and Governor of Kebbi Atiku Bagudu, director-general of the campaign council Simon Lalong, and party National Chairman Senator Abdullahi Adamu were among those present at the rally.
Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje was also there;Katsina State’s Aminu Masari;Ogun State’s Dapo Abiodun;Jigawa State governor Abubakar Badaru;Kwara State’s AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq;Ekiti State’s Abiodun Oyebanji;Adegboyega Oyetola, the Osun State governor who is leaving office;and Kayode Fayemi, a former governor of Ekiti.Babatunde Fashola (SAN), the Minister of Works and Housing, and Sunday Dare, his counterpart in the Ministry of Sports and Youth Development, were also present.
Dino Melaye, the spokesperson for the PDP campaign council, stated that Tinubu’s close associates should advise him correctly rather than encourage him to continue. PDP responds comment
He asked, “God, why are these people so evil toward this man?”He erroneously referred to it as APC after calling it PVC or APV.This is dementia that has advanced!Tinubu, get well soon!We can only pray for Tinubu to get well and say no to the desperate people pushing him to perdition. If Tinubu were mentally and physically fit, I would have known what to say.
