Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has stated that he will announce his choice for president in January 2023.
This was said by Wike at the commissioning of the Rumukurishi flyover on Thursday in Port Harcourt.
Additionally, the governor stated that he would support his adopted candidate throughout Nigeria.
He stated, “I’ll campaign to my people about who they’ll vote for beginning in January of next year.”
“Now, all of you who have been waiting, who have been saying a variety of things, and who have been abusing me, wait. January has arrived.
He went on to state, “I’ll move from state to state [for campaigns], and why they should vote for the person, nothing will happen,” in his remark.
According to DAILY POST, the governor and PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar have disagreed over Iyorchia Ayu’s chairmanship since Wike finished second in the primary in May.
