Enugu Community Accuses Police Boss, Nwachukwu Of Making Money From Corpses Of People Killed By Herdsmen .

Occupants of Ogbete-Mgboji Community in Eha-Amufu, Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State have blamed the Divisional Police Officer for Ikem Police Station, one Nwachukwu, of bringing in cash from the cadavers of individuals killed by Fulani herders.
SaharaReporters had covered Wednesday that the thought Fulani herders killed five individuals and terminated 14 homestead settlements where north of 3,000 occupants where residing.

He said, “The main thing the DPO did was to come and convey the carcasses; in any event, when the groups of the cadaver let him know that they would have rather not saved the bodies in the morgue; give us the carcasses to cover; he denied and conveyed it to funeral home. On Tuesday when they were shooting, we called him that they had killed two individuals and, he let us know that he wouldn’t come; that he was going to where someone was captured.
“He will constantly demand that except if the police official approves for anybody to be covered, he won’t deliver the carcass. You don’t come to save life however when the individual kicks the bucket; in any event, when the proprietors of the cadavers are imploring you to permit them to cover them, you will reject and convey it go to funeral home.”
