Travelers on the Warri-Itakpe standard Guage rail line were yesterday abandoned for four hours in a shrubbery among Ajaokuta and Itobo rail station, following the breakdown of the train passing on them.
One of the train travelers in a Save our Soul (SOS) message shipped off The Guardian clarified that the train, which took off around 8:30 a.m. separated around 9:15 a.m., after the train fostered a mechanical shortcoming.
He said: “We have been abandoned for longer than an hour in a thick shrubbery as the trains pulling the train have bombed among Ajaokuta and Itobo station. Please we need earnest assistance. I figured out how to get a portable organization here.”
The traveler, who was the Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor, Anthony Ajaino, said one more train came around 1:00 p.m. to assist them with continueing on the excursion.
