Gov Ortom errands Benue inhabitants not to attack security offices

Samuel Ortom, governor of Benue State, has reiterated his warning to the state’s populace not to sabotage the security personnel assigned to their areas.
He advised that they rather assist them in completing their task of protecting lives and property.
During the Thanksgiving Mass held at St. Peter’s Quasi-Parish in Aondoana, in the Gwer West Local Government Area, on Sunday, November 27, 2022, in honor of his wife, Dr. Eunice Ortom, on her 50th birthday, the Governor issued the directive.
In particular, Governor Ortom reiterated his directive to the people of Benue to continue supporting the state’s security agencies in order for them to succeed rather than opposing them.
He urged Benue residents to support the security agencies’ efforts to protect people’s lives and property while praising them for their efforts.
As indicated by the Lead representative “Regardless of whether any security faculty was viewed as needing or committing acts unfriendly to security, they ought to be accounted for to fitting specialists,” he prompted.
Dr. Eunice, the Governor’s wife, was described as “a gift to humanity” and praised as a supporter of his life and administration.
He maintained that the First Lady was “a woman who loves God and has the passion for humanity,” noting that she has steadfastly supported him and offered prayers in all circumstances, keeping him going.
In addition, Governor Ortom expressed gratitude to the Church for its persistent prayers and support for his administration’s efforts to overcome state obstacles.
In addition, he expressed his sincere gratitude to everyone who attended the Thanksgiving Mass to celebrate and support his wife. The event featured fundraising for the completion of the Church project at St. Peter’s Quasi-Parish, Aondoana.
The Lead representative soon after the Thanksgiving Mass, charged a wellbeing office, St Veronica’s Center, Aondoana worked by the Benue State Government to cater for the essential medical care needs of individuals of the local area.
Prior to the Thanksgiving Mass on the first Sunday of Advent, Most Reverend Wilfred Anagbe, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Makurdi, urged the faithful to prepare for Jesus’ return to avoid being caught off guard, noting that “It was important for Christians to spiritually fortify themselves.”
According to Bishop Anagbe, “The celebration was a thing of great joy enabled by the grace of God, which speaks of God’s undeserving love for all humanity,” it was essential to express gratitude to God for the celebrant’s 50 years of grace.
The clergyman said that the First Lady was an inspiration to others and praised her for her passion for helping the less fortunate and the weak.
