SAHARANEWS – The leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to a publication that the cause of death in Kano all this while is related to Coronavirus.
According to Dailytrust publication on the cause of mysterious death in Kano which close to a thousand people have been confirmed dead revealed that COVID-19 is responsible for it.
COVID-19 responsible for mass deaths in Kano — Presidential team
“The Presidential Technical Team deployed to Kano to support the state committee in upscaling its response to COVID-19, on Sunday, said coronavirus is responsible for the mass deaths recorded in Kano State recently.
“Leader of the team, Dr Nasiru Sani Gwarzo, disclosed this in an interview with journalists in Kano during the official presentation and handing over of the mobile testing laboratory donated by Aliko Dangote Foundation to the state government.
“He explained that the recent spike in deaths in the state was as a result of coronavirus.
“Dr Gwarzo said after the verbal autopsy and test carried out, it had been established that COVID-19 is the cause of most of the deaths.
Reacting to the publication, Kanu made his stand in a recent post on his official facebook page.
“I am glad to announce that while we were on air this evening and following our exposé of government cover-up occassioned by shambolic Yoruba journalism, remnants of the diseased and crumbling regime in Aso Rock, buckled under the weight of our relentless onslaught and directed a northern publication, Daily Trust, to admit the truth that Yoruba papers couldn’t publish; that true to what we have been saying, COVID-19 is responsible for the huge number of deaths occurring in Kano State.
“We suffocate our enemies with the sheer force of truth. Without IPOB, they would have gone on lying and deceiving 200million people that an unknown mystery death was responsible.”
