Escaping shooters on Monday went after a caravan of a previous legislative leader of Imo State, Ikedi Ohakim, and killed four of his police orderlies simultaneously.
Ohakim’s escort was gone after at Oriagu in the Ehime Mbano Nearby Government Region of the state on Monday night.
Ohakim who got away from by the stubbles had his reinforcement vehicle besieged, prompting the passing of the four police officers in his escort.
Our journalist accumulated that Ohakim was with two of his kids and was getting back from a visit when the shooters struck.
A source near the ex-lead representative unveiled that it took the grit of the driver of Ohakim for him to get away.
The source said, “his excellency was the fundamental objective yet his driver was adequately brilliant to beat them since they were heading to hinder him.
“Disheartened that their fundamental objective had gotten away, they hindered his reinforcement vehicle and consumed it. The four cops with him consumed.”
Our journalist accumulated that a support came from Owerri, the state capital and accompanied him to his home.
