IPOB declares a former Nnewi North vigilante group commander wanted

The Indigenous People of Biafra, has declared wanted, Ethelbert Ohari, a former Nnewi North vigilante commander.

IPOB which made the announcement on Saturday in a statement signed by its spokesperson Emma Powerful, said it declared Ohari wanted for his involvement in extrajudicial killings and crimes in parts of South-East.

“The Nnewi North former vigilante Commander who is now working with Ebubeagu Security militia to cause panic in Nnewi North because he was relieved as Nnewi North vigilante commander, he is now collaborating with all criminals in Nnewi North and South,” said IPOB in the statement which added that “He is behind the tragedies in these two LGAs.”

“We hereby, declare him wanted. He took over Imo State Ebubeagu bringing them into Nnewi North and South and also working for Hope Uzodinma of Imo State.

“Any place you see Ebubeagu member report to ESN operatives and IPOB volunteers. These people were used to create confusion and unknown gunmen in our society. They cannot continue to terrorise our people.  We won’t allow them to continue with their atrocities.”
