There have been no reports of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), being poisoned while he is being held by the Department of State Services (DSS).
According to the DSS, Kanu’s issue was not political; Therefore, Nigerians should disregard the poisoning report.
There are rumors that the DSS was poisoning Kanu while it was holding him.
It was stated that some youths intend to set government buildings on fire in the Southeast.
In support of this assertion, IPOB asserted that DSS was secretly and methodically attempting to kill Kanu by preventing him from seeing his medical professionals.
However, according to an anonymous DSS employee who exclusively spoke with DAILY POST, Kanu is being treated well.
He stated, ” What is happening to Nnamdi Kanu is political, and he cannot be denied access to his doctors. We treat the prisoner well, even if he is a seasoned criminal; Kanu’s case is no exception.
“The claim that DSS is poisoning Kanu is not true; He has access to his doctors, so everything is a lie. However, he is not denied access to his doctors despite the fact that he has medical issues.
“You know, we shouldn’t expect anything good from IPOB because their issue and agenda are against the government, so ignore all these reports,” the statement reads.
