Its madness to think Nigeria will work–Soyinka

Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, on Saturday, repeated his situation on rebuilding Nigeria, expressing that the nation can’t work under the ongoing arrangement of government.

The Nigerian creator made the affirmation at the 2021 Obafemi Awolowo Lecture named, ‘Whither Nigeria?’ which was coordinated by the Obafemi Awolowo Foundation.

Soyinka, who underscored decentralization of force and administration, refered to the ongoing security challenges as need might have arisen to be rebuilt.

“There is an agreement that this country whether regarding administration, monetary relations, security, instructive strategy, social arrangement, and so on, requires rebuilding. Indeed, even the word ‘rebuilding’ has been rebuilt in numerous bearings, in apt articulation which will mean exactly the same thing for everyone.
