JUST IN: Biafra is a Spirit and nobody can destroy her – Bianca Ojukwu agrees with Nnamdi Kanu.

Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu, the widow of the late Igbo warlord, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, has declared that nobody can destroy Ndigbo.

She said despite alleged machinations and gang up against people of the tribe, they cannot be exterminated in Nigeria.

While describing Ndigbo as resourceful, diligent and resolute people, Bianca stressed that there is nothing they cannot achieve if they remain united.

Bianca stated this in her New Year message, made available to reporters in Enugu, on Thursday

“We affirm that Igbo are a nation of resourceful and determined people. Our optimism is boundless. Our dynamism and tenacity is proven to the world. We are indestructible.

“The Almighty God has proven this fact to our enemies and our oppressors throughout history. There is nothing we cannot achieve if we put our minds to it, but, unity of purpose and a higher commitment to the common good are imperative, if we are to succeed.

“We continue to pray for Ndigbo and the country, whilst calling on our leaders to humble themselves under God’s mighty hand, so that in His unfailing love, He will lead us through the unrelenting crises in which this nation finds itself.”

Mrs Ojukwu, who contested for the senatorial ticket of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, for Anambra South District, also berated the leadership of the party, accusing them of plundering the political patrimony.

“2018 was the year of the rampaging locusts, which invaded our political habitat and plundered our political patrimony,” she added.

“2019 provides a grand opportunity for us to reaffirm our historical mission, comply with our own ideologies and reinforce the unity that has sustained usthrough years of fracture, factions, litigation, triumphs and turmoil.

“2019 must be APGA’s year of redemption. It is said that sovereignty or leadership without justice remains nothing other than organised robbery.

“The present national chairman of APGA, who wreaked such unprecedented havoc upon our beloved party, must refund and resign for the healing process within our party to begin.”

Bianca thanked “the hardworking people of Anambra South, who were regrettably denied the opportunity of a new dynamism in representation at the red chambers.”
