As a component of endeavors to determine the emergency shaking the People groups Progressive faction, the Leading body of Legal administrators of the party will today meet the Streams State Lead representative, Nyesom Wike, in Port Harcourt Tuesday.
The gathering will be held at the State Government House in Port Harcourt around early afternoon (12pm).
A high ranking representative of the party in the state who didn’t need his name referenced affirmed this our reporter on Tuesday morning.
“Indeed, it is affirmed that the PDP BoT individuals will meet His Excellency, the Lead representative (Wike) today in Port Harcourt.
“You realize what’s going on in the repel, the issues and everything. So such gathering is critical. That is all I can tell you,” he said.
Wike’s men and Legislative leaders of Enugu, Abia, Benue, Oyo States, as well as some top PDP partners in the state are supposed to at the meet.
The PUNCH revealed that Lead representative Wike and a few lead representatives in the South had boycotted the mission banner off of the party’s Official competitor, Atiku Abubakar.
With this impact, it is normal that thoughts at the gathering will be pointed toward settling on some mutual interest to mollify Wike and his men as the 2023 races inch nearer.
Lead representative Wike and four of his partners, presently known as the large five lead representatives, have shaped a collusion to look for value and equity in the party.
