Kremlin says Biden, Zelensky refusing to hear ‘Russia’s concerns’

Following the historic visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the United States, the Kremlin stated on Thursday that Washington and Kiev were disregarding Russia’s concerns.
During his lightning-fast trip to Washington, US President Joe Biden committed nearly $1.8 billion in military supplies, including the Patriot missile defense system for the first time. Zelensky received a hero’s welcome.
Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for the Kremlin, stated to reporters, “We can say with regret that so far neither President Biden nor President Zelensky have said even a few words that could be perceived as potential readiness to listen to Russia’s concerns.”

“Not a solitary word was heard admonition Zelensky against the kept shelling of private structures in towns and towns in Donbas and there were no genuine calls for harmony,” Peskov said.
He went on to say, “This suggests that the United States is continuing its line of de facto fighting an indirect war with Russia until the very last Ukrainian.”
Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, made the announcement just a few hours prior to Zelensky’s visit that Moscow would keep working next year to improve its nuclear forces’ combat readiness and military potential.
