The Standup for Women Society has been introduced in Asaba, the State capital with a charge to stop young adult prostitution and backing for weak ladies in the state.
The Omu Anioma, HRM Obi Martha Dunkwu gave the charge during the introduction of the Delta State section of SWS and the disclosing of the psycho-social help for weak ladies.
She said, “As ladies, we ought to cover our countenances in disgrace, we have bombed our country. SWS ought to coordinate ladies to delicate an open conciliatory sentiment to the country. Introducing the state section of SWS, the National President of the association, Mrs Deborah Ijadele, revealed that Delta was the thirteenth state to be initiated in the country.

In her post-initiation comment, the State Chairman of the gathering, Mrs Stella Macaulay, vowed to stop juvenile prostitution in the following two years.
