Let’s join hands to salvage Nigeria – Gov Ortom tells political leaders

Samuel Ortom, governor of Benue State, has urged Nigerians to work together for the country’s progress above personal preferences.
Lead representative Ortom gave the charge Saturday, December third, 2022 in Port Harcourt, Waterways State not long after he got the most elevated praises in the express, the ‘Excellent Assistance Star of Streams State’ GSSRS.
He stated that the only thing the people needed to do to save the nation at this point in its history—when it is experiencing difficulties economically, socially, politically, and in terms of security—was to show their patriotism.
The Governor thanked Governor Nyesom Wike and the people of Rivers State for their wisdom in presenting Nigeria with the Award, which honored individuals from across the country’s six geopolitical zones.
He stated that this demonstrates the state’s and Governor Wike’s belief in Nigeria’s unity.
“If every other person in Nigeria will think like Governor Wike, the country will be great and will really take its position as the leader of Africa and the giant of Africa,” says Governor Ortom.
Governor Ortom urged Nigerians to refrain from “Looking at political parties, nor look at ethnicity, but how we can salvage our country Nigeria and make it greater than what it is currently” as they prepare to participate in general elections next year.
The Lead representative approached the honorees to take the message that has been passed by the Lead representative and individuals of Waterways State to their separate states and districts so individuals would see the value in the need to cooperate for the solidarity and progress of the country.
