Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester United and a former coach at Barcelona, has stated that Lionel Messi, the Argentine star and the most recent World Cup winner, is the greatest football player ever.
In a meeting seen on Sky Sports on Wednesday, Guardiola said Messi’s Reality Cup win affirms he’s the best footballer ever. He added that the World Cup win is the “last accomplishment of a fantastic profession” for Messi.
Even if Messi had not won the World Cup, the coach acknowledged that he would still consider him to be the best.
