Retired General Mohammed Babagana Mungono, Director of the Nigerian National Intelligence Agency (NIA), has been warned by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, to stop spreading false information about IPOB and the Eastern Security Network (ESN). The “NIA Boss” was further challenged by the freedom movement to provide video evidence of the camp or the ESN members they claim to have apprehended. claiming that the NIA does not have sufficient capabilities to ever locate or even dislodge ESN camps.
Following Mungono’s assertion that they (NIA) attacked ESN camps and detained some commanders, IPOB made this statement. They could not support this claim by mentioning the camps or the detained commanders, or even by providing video evidence to support their claims. Mungono is accused by IPOB of being a consistent liar with this.
Mungono, according to IPOB, has been busy wasting his time searching for ESN camp, which is not a feasible mission. ESN is a volunteer group of Biafrans who have volunteered to defend Biafran forests and bushes from the invading Fulani Herdsmen and other terrorists who are ravaging Biafraland. Since he took office in 2015, Mungono has become the kingpin of kidnapping and robbery. As a result, he ought to be in prison if the Nigerian government were not capricious and lawless. The following question should be asked of Mungono and his NIA officials: Have you tried to dislodge, arrest, or bring BOKO Haram’s camps, which have been ravaging Northern Nigeria, to no avail? He hasn’t, but he is working with Boko Haram to destroy his own state (Borno).
The Biafra freedom movement wants Mungono to understand that IPOB/ESN have innate intelligence and cannot be ignored for their inventiveness. Therefore, Nigeria’s strategy, tricks, and ploys to harm ESN/IPOB in the eyes of the Biafran public and the rest of the world are all well-understood.
Inspite of May, “Mungono, you and NIA can’t find the camp of ESN agents”, IPOB completely told the NIA Chief.
