A previous Special Adviser on Islamic Matters to late lead representative Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa of Kaduna State, Sheik Haliru Abdullahi Maraya, has thought that those advancing the possibility of a Muslim or Christian official ticket, in the present Nigeria, don’t wish the nation well now that it is partitioned along strict separation points.
Talking on “Islamic view on same-confidence official ticket in the present Nigeria”, the previous Special Adviser expressed, “Those advancing the possibility of a Muslim or Christian official ticket, in the present Nigeria, don’t wish the nation well particularly now that it is separated along strict separation points.”
He made sense of that it’s off-base for a Muslim to help a Muslim official ticket for all intents and purposes at fluctuation with the soul of equity which the religion of Islam advances and shields consistently.
“I don’t think there is a Muslim who will uphold a Christian official ticket. Without a doubt, the Muslims would shout out for the execution of shamefulness against them,” he said.
