New Nigeria will rise from Lagos — LP gov candidate

Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the candidate for governor from the Lagos State Labour Party, claims that Nigerian youths are 90% ready to take control of the country and make their dream nation a reality.

The 40-year-old LP candidate made the disclosure on Thursday at a meeting in Ikeja called “Youth O’ Clock,” where he said that a new Lagos would create a new Nigeria.

He stated, “We know that the goal and what we are going through are much larger than me or any of us.”

“An undertaking will lift the existences of millions of Lagosians up and thus lift the existences of numerous Nigerians up. This project aims to free Lagos from tyranny’s grip.

“A Lagos State in which the inner roads will function, where our people will have access to high-quality healthcare, clean water, and a high-quality public education, not one in which parents continue to struggle to find a way to pay for their children’s private school tuition.”

Rhodes-Vivour is guaranteed a bright future.

We have already reached 90% of our goal. This needs to be brought home by us. I want you to know that Nigeria will be consumed by a new kind of politics as soon as we take Lagos.

“Politicians who care about the people, who are able to articulate their vision, and who are open to change begin to emerge.

“No more business as usual, we are changing the story to have another Lagos and another Nigeria. Rhodes-Vivour stated, “We will establish a new standard.”

He said that Obi and the LP were all about empathy and compassion for the people’s suffering, and he thanked young people in Nigeria for supporting the LP’s presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, and his running mate, Dr. Datti Baba-Ahmed, in the presidential election on February 25.
