The political trope of religious and ethnic bigotry is helped along by Nigerians. Citizens who were deceived into believing that their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) could salvage a state of terror have been robbed by this political tyranny, which is driven by the same political class that has killed her citizens openly because they protested against the Nigerian Police’s brutality in the lekki toll gate of Lagos State on October 20, 2020, and the massacre of innocent civilians in Obigbo, Rivers State, by Governor Nyesom Wike.
It was a niche that Nigerians never knew equated breeding a monstrous society to the instigation of the Nigerian security forces against unarmed civilians of a particular section of the “same country” because they requested the civil right of a referendum.
At the point when IPOB fought the irregularity of the Nigerian State, they did it for each one, independent of your clan and alliance. As respected citizens, Nigerians need to take note of the fact that the Nigerian state does not have a value system to defend, and it is time to reflect deeply on your citizenship and rights. This means that everyone needs to demand the kind of nation they want to leave behind for future generations. Nigerians cannot continue to engage in the same wrongdoings in the hope of achieving a different outcome.
For the Nigerian politicians, it is a matter of pursuing their own interests and working together, and they will make use of the shoddy media in the country to spread utterly false information to the people while supporting political crime. In exchange for an impoverished society, Nigeria’s actions of inciting religious and ethnic hatred must be made known to all Nigerians.
Nigerians must put an end to hate and fight their collective oppressors, which are the country as a whole.
