Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has said Nigeria would continue to exist despite secession moves.
Obasanjo explained that Nigeria would continue to exist because the cost of break up will be devastating.
The former president made the declaration during the 85th Birthday of Prelate Sunday Mbang of the Methodist Church Nigeria on Friday, in Lagos.
According to Obasanjo: “I want to assure you that Nigeria will continue to exist because the cost for Nigeria not to continue to exist is much more than the cost for us to make Nigeria continue to exist.”
