Nnamdi Kanu: IPOB asks US government five questions

The United States government has been questioned by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) for its silence regarding Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s continued detention.
A separatist group stated that the imprisonment of its leader is in violation of international law and that the silence regarding a matter that is of grave concern to over seventy million Biafrans is deafening.
Emma Power, IPOB’s press and publicity secretary, addressed the United States with the following statement:
1.Why did the US government remain silent throughout the Biafra genocidal war, which saw over 5 million innocent Biafran lives lost between 1967 and 1970 with support from Britain and her allies?

2.Why did the US government remain silent in the face of Nigeria’s extraordinary rendition of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in violation of international law and protocols?despite the fact that they continue to house him in their prisons.
3.Despite the fact that competent Nigerian courts (Abuja Appeal Court and Umuahia High Court) had pronounced Mazi Nnamdi Kanu discharged and acquitted since October 13, 2022, and thereby violated his human and fundamental rights, why did the US government continue to remain silent in the face of the Nigerian government’s ongoing illegal detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu?
4.For what reason is the US Government actually keeping quiet and not sway Nigerian Government to begin the course of mandate for Biafra Individuals to decide choose to remain or head out in a different direction in view of self assurance standards?

5.In the case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the US government’s long silence on the ongoing genocides against Biafrans and their total disregard for international laws and protocols begs the question, “What is the US Government benefiting from the extremely corrupt and corruption-ravaged Nigeria Governance system?”Emma Powerful asserts that IPOB, in addition to requiring the assistance and intervention of the United States in order to secure Nnamdi Kanu’s release, also requires the assistance and intervention of the United States in order to secure a referendum that will be supervised by the United Nations in order to establish a sovereign, independent state of Biafra.
