NNAMDI KANU, SOUTH-EAST GOVS’ DIALOGUE: Lawyer Gives Conditions For Continuation


SAHARANEWS – Counsel to the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Bar Aloy Ejiofor has enlisted conditions to enable the group continue dialogue with the South-East Governors, which was already ongoing before the Operation Python Dance 1 was carried out.

Asked the South-East Governors to assemble and de-proscribe the group.
The Lawyer, took a Swift from their communique denying involvement to the military exercises, Operation Python Dance 1, 2, & 3, which its maiden operation, 27 September 2016, caused deadly havoc in the Afara Ukwu community.

In an open letter written on Monday, September 2019, He advised the governors to clear their innocence by de-proscribing the group as they adopted in 2017 before the operation python dance 2 was carried out.

He urged them to set up a committee of inquiry into the activities of the military exercises, Operation python dance 1, 2 and 3 and make sure the culprits are arrested.
He said, before the South-East governors will engage in any dialogue with IPOB, the group must be delisted as a terrorist group, an apology must be submitted, finally, the federal government must obey and implement the letters and spirit of a certain landmark decision recently issued by an international tribunal.
