Peter Obi of the Work Party said no serious pioneer would go on a rest (excursion) in Nigeria.
During his visit to the Muslim community at Akwa Central Mosque on Monday for Eid al-Fitr, LP presidential candidate Obi made the disclosure.
He asked that Nigerians ought not be separated in light of religion or governmental issues.
He said: ” Go and unwind for those who need a break. I have to go to schools and hospitals and interact with people, so I’m not taking any breaks.
“No serious leader will stop in Nigeria to rest.” We will continue to support as many people as we can and visit as many people as possible.
Keep in mind that Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the incoming president, left for Europe on Monday and returned to Nigeria.
In the meantime, Tinubu stated in his speech upon his return that he was prepared to begin immediately.
