EDO State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has said he would not creek resistance inside the state part of the PDP in his journey to reposition and reinforce it. He said this at an extended gathering of party pioneers in Benin, on Monday.
Obaseki said, “There are individuals who have proceeded to come and take care of you with lies. That is the idea of their legislative issues in case there is no disarray they won’t eat. Last year, when we went along with you, we began a development that has never occurred in Edo, not even in our legislative issues. In the event that we go to the political decision today, we will win by 85%. It implies we don’t have significant resistance and in case this is the circumstance, we ought not make resistance inside.
“I won’t leave PDP. I’m the head of PDP and by the beauty of God, I will lead PDP well. Anyone that doesn’t need me to lead or need to acknowledge my authority will leave PDP for me. We are staying put and put resources into PDP. I’m the lead representative to join PDP last and was made director of our e-enrollment measure so for what reason should I leave the party. We came to consider PDP to be a strong Party, the main genuine party in this nation while others are specific reason vehicles for races.”

The suspensions were confirmed by all PDP pioneers across the 18 Local Government Areas and the three Senatorial Districts of the State at a developed gathering of the pioneers held in Benin City.
A movement for confirmation of the suspension was moved by Mike Nosa-Ehima, a head of the PDP in Oredo LGA, and was approved by Sylvanus Eruaga, a head of the party from Etsako West LGA.
