Ogun: Man who stole money to lodge in hotel stabbed to death by female friend

A 30-year-elderly person, recognized as Mohammed Ahmed, has been wounded absurdly later he allegedly took N600,000 from his manager to hold up in a lodging.

The Ogun State Police Command said the man was wounded on Wednesday by a 32-year-old style architect, Omowunmi Oyapitan, during a fight at a lodging where he had concealed in the wake of taking the cash.

Ogun police representative, Abimbola Oyeyemi said the police got a trouble call at Onipanu Division from one Stephen Udo, the Manager of Splendor Guest Inn.

Udo had let the police know that a contention followed between two of his visitors in the lodging, and all the while, Oyapitan broke a container and cut Ahmed in the neck.

The DPO of Onipanu division, CSP Bamidele Job, was said to have assembled his men to the location of the occurrence, where the casualty was met in the pool of his blood.

Oyeyemi expressed that the police captured the suspect, while the casualty was hurried to State Hospital, Ota, where he was articulated dead.

As per the police picture creator, starter examination had uncovered that the person in question, a barkeep at one Hayorlak Hotel, had stopped in the visitor motel since Monday in the wake of taking the cash.

He was said to have utilized piece of the taken cash to stop a portion of his companions. He had a squabble with one of those he stopped in the inn for blaming him for taking his cash.

The allegation, it was assembled, “prompted hot trade of words between them.”
