Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, has characterized Ademola Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State, as tenacious and resilient.
While wishing Adeleke a fruitful and productive term as governor, Obi made the comment.
He wished Adeleke well on his victory and inauguration as Osun State’s sixth governor.
On Sunday, Adeleke, the popular singer Davido’s uncle, was sworn in as governor of Osun State.
The Work Party flagbearer encouraged Adeleke to serve individuals of the State.
Obi wrote in a series of tweets:I congratulate Senator Ademola Adeleke @AAdeleke_01, the Governor of Osun State, on his inauguration and official start of the elected mandate of his people.
“I commend Governor Adeleke for his tenacity and resilience, and I wish him a fruitful and productive term serving his people.-PO” In the state governorship election on July 16, the newly inaugurated governor defeated Gboyega Oyetola.
After losing the gubernatorial election in 2018, he ran as a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP, and won the election.
