Garba Shehu, the presidential spokesman, stated on Thursday morning that many people who had declared a winner before the Independent National Electoral Commission did were shocked by the presidential election results on February 25.
In an interview with Arise Television News, Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, made the observation.
He said notwithstanding the abnormalities saw in the lead of the February 25 political decision, it stayed the most better in Nigeria’s set of experiences.
Shehu had argued that the Buhari administration had laid the groundwork for credible elections in the country in a statement he signed on Monday. However, he stated that INEC is responsible for managing the compilation of the results.
