SERIOUS PROTEST:Abia women demands release of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu

Women in Abia have demanded the unconditional and immediate release of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, who has been detained since 2021.
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, who was kidnapped in Kenya and illegally extradited to Nigeria by government agents, was condemned by the women Wednesday during a protest in Aba, the state’s business center.
A banner that was held by the women during the protest on November 30, 2022 reads, “We are loosing our patience.”
“The Journey of Nine Months is Painful, We Can’t Keep Calm to Watch Our Son Die for a Crime He Never Committed” is written on another banner.
If Mr. Kanu is not freed by the end of 2022, the women have threatened serious legal action against the Nigerian federal and state governments.
The activist for self-determination is currently in prison for calling for a referendum on the no longer existing independent state of Biafra.
