Soludo Put an End to cattle movement on foot in Anambra

Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has restricted development of dairy cattle by walking in all aspects of Anambra State.

Soludo, who met with individuals from Anambra State Cattle Menace Committee at the Government House, Awka, at the end of the week, said the boycott was in consistence with the 2021 enemy of open nibbling law of the State, adding that authorization would start from September.

“Since we have a regulation restricting open brushing, the policing have been coordinated to execute it.

“However the law has been in presence since very nearly one year prior, dairy cattle rearers continue to march specific regions in the State in repudiation to the law,” Soludo said.

Previous legislative leader of the State, Willie Obiano had consented to the Cattle and Other Livestock Open Grazing Prohibition and Ranches Establishment Bill of Anambra State in 2021, however neglected to authorize the boycott.

Soludo, while talking at the gathering, said that his organization would guarantee the execution of the law by September.

He cheered individuals from the Anambra State Cattle Menace Committee for their dedication to obligation, saying that Anambra individuals have generally lived as one with herders, however the herders should lead their organizations inside the ambit of surviving regulations.
