Stability of Chad is in Nigeria’s best interest – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday revealed that the soundness of the Chad Republic and all adjoining nations is to Nigeria’s greatest advantage.

Buhari spread the word about this situation while getting a Special Envoy from the Transitional President of Chad, General Mahamat Idris Derby, in the State House, Abuja.

The president, who talked on the ideals of good friendliness, said, “sound judgment makes it critical that we be keen on the solidness of Chad Republic, as it’s to our greatest advantage.

“We are really concerned, and I’m truly dazzled with the authority of the nation in settling the commonwealth.

“It was the faith in great friendliness that made me first visit Chad, Niger Republic, Cameroon, and Benin Republic when I came in 2015.

The Nigerian chief expressed relations among Nigeria and Chad rose above that of neighbors, as the late President, Marshal Idriss Deby Itno, “kept me continually advised on advancements in the country.”
