UCL: They were really good – Potter gives credit to Chelsea stars after win over Milan

Chelsea chief, Graham Potter, has given credit to his players following their UEFA Champions Association 2-0 win over AC Milan on Tuesday.

Chelsea partook in an agreeable win against AC Milan at San Siro after previous Blues protector Fikayo Tomori got an early red card.

Tomori was shipped off for pulling back Chelsea midfielder Bricklayer Mount nearby, with Jorginho changing over the punishment.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang multiplied the lead for Potter’s side to give the Chief Association club the triumph over the Serie A bosses.

However, Chelsea and Britain experienced a blow in the final part when right-back Reece James limped off.

Talking at his post-match public interview, Potter said his players were great against the host.

“To come here and win is difficult. Credit to the players. They were great. We had a touch of karma with the resistance going down to 10 men.

“By and large, the presentation was great. It’s ideal to keep a spotless sheet and to leave away with three focuses is fabulous,” Potter said.

On Tomori’s red card, Potter added: “It’s hard from where I’m sitting. It appears as though he had his hand on him and Bricklayer Mount was through on objective. I really want to look again plainly. It’s decent for the punishment and pleasant for Jorginho to score. It was a decent move to prompt it. What will be will be. In some cases they go for you.”
