Teacher Banji Akintoye, head of Ilana Omo Oodua, a secessionist bunch, has communicated certainty that the Yoruba nation of Nigeria will have their own country toward the finish of 2022.
Akintoye, nonetheless, raised the alert over the supposed intrusion of certain pieces of South-West Nigeria by unfamiliar psychological oppressors.
Akintoye, who made this revelation on Tuesday while tending to the Ilana Omo Oodua Congress in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, added that “unfamiliar psychological oppressors” have attacked the South-West locale.
As per him, the “unfamiliar psychological oppressors that Fulani has brought are a presently in our area”.
He portrayed the Nigerian framework as defective, saying there is a requirement for the actualisation of the Yoruba Country.
The famous student of history communicated certainty that it would be accomplished toward the finish of 2022, saying, “Before the finish of December, we will have our own country.”
Akintoye encouraged Yoruba relatives to “request change” and “improvement”, saying Nigeria is in serious peril.
