The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye has clarified why the expense of leading the Anambra governorship political decision is higher than that of as of late directed Edo and Ondo races.
Okoye talking on Thursday during a meeting on Channels Television breakfast program, Sunrise Daily said the sum exhausted on the restoration of its consumed office and materials is the justification behind the significant expense of the Anambra political race.

Remarking further on the political race, Okoye said the expense is high a result of the “uncommon conditions.”
He clarified that “We are directing this political race in an exceptionally strange situation, this is on the grounds that we needed to remake our workplaces in Nnewi North and Idemili north, where our neighborhood government workplaces were scorched,” he said.
“We needed to supplant more than 326 producing sets that we wiped up from our neighborhood government workplaces and put away in the base camp reasoning that it would be safer.
“We likewise needed to remake our stores, where we regularly store non-delicate materials. We needed to likewise supplant more than 60% of the non-delicate materials we previously sent to our Akwa office, preparing for this political decision.

Okoye clarified further that as far as cost, “it’s been extremely expensive and we can’t contrast it with Ondo and Edo states decisions, since we are in exceptionally surprising conditions, we needed to do things any other way.

Albeit the INEC Commissioner couldn’t unveil the sum consumed so far on the Anambra political race, he communicated trust that the impending Ekiti and Osun political race won’t present more expenses and difficulties
Anambra political race is planned to happen on November 6, 2021.
