Abuja Federal High Court on Wednesday adjourned the trial of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
The court adjourned Kanu’s trial until January 19, 2022, after his lawyers staged a walkout protest against the unlawful behavior of Department of State Services (DSS) agents in the courtroom.
The DSS’s refusal to allow the IPOB leader’s foreign lawyer, Bruce Fein, to enter the courtroom sparked an uproar and forced other lawyers to leave the courtroom.
Kanu, angered by the DSS action, was seen in a video confronting DSS agents.
