You’re wrong – Nnamdi Kanu replies Malami over continued detention, new charges

The head of the Native Nation of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, on Friday, scrutinized the Principal legal officer of the Organization, Abubakar Malami for saying the Central Government would start further charges against him.

Kanu said Malami was off-base, focusing on that it was unlawful for the Central Government to start new charges against him.

He talked through his Unique Advice, Aloy Ejimakor, while responding to the Allure Court administering, which released and vindicated him.

Recently, the Allure Court released and cleared Kanu of the psychological oppression charges evened out against him by the Nigerian Government.

A three-judge board of the redrafting court decided that Kanu was illicitly separated from Kenya by Nigerian specialists in a cycle referred to globally as unprecedented version, which privileges specialists characterize as a snatching.

The adjudicators held that the Nigerian Government couldn’t charge Kanu for any offense in the country until administrative specialists made sense of how they moved him from Nairobi to Abuja in June 2022.

Talking with Everyday POST, Ejimakor said: “The AGF is off-base. In the event that the FG declines or slows down on delivering Kanu simply on the grounds that it wants to start further or new charges, it will add up to a holding charge circumstance which has been held as unlawful by the High Court.

“Further, no new charge can stick against Kanu in light of the fact that, in the current situation, the phenomenal version is a standing element that has made an extremely durable hindrance to his indictment, basically for the present.

“The judgment of the Court of Allure has grandfathered a proceeding with absence of legal purview, which must be overwhelmed by a couple of things I’m not at freedom to reveal here since it will add up to offering lawful guidance to the FG. However, before any further charge can have a robe of lawfulness or legality, Kanu must be delivered first.”
