If You Say My Statistics Are Incorrect, Provide Your Own – Peter Obi Challenges APC

Peter Obi, the candidate for president from the Labour Party (LP), has responded to a statement made by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), in which the PCC stated that Obi frequently provides statistics that are unverified and false.

If he was wrong about the numbers, the former governor of Anambra demanded that the ruling party provide their own accurate statistics in response to the APC.

This was said by Obi when he spoke at the first and second convocations of the Dominican University of Ibadan.

He argued that nine out of ten of the statements he has made are without a doubt accurate.

The presidential candidate for the LP insisted that his statistics were not fabricated because he has held positions of power and understands what it takes.

He said; ” For every statement or statistic I made, if you look at ten, I will get nine, quote me anywhere, and have always maintained over 75 percent. If they said I give unverified statistics, let them come with their alternatives. If you say I’m wrong, let them provide their own. They cannot say I’m wrong if they failed to provide their own.
