In the Birnin Gwari Local Government area of Kaduna State, terrorists have killed security personnel by ambushing communities.
On Sunday, journalists learned that members of the civil defense corps, police, soldiers, and local vigilantes were among the deceased.
Abubakar Kakangi, a local, told journalists Monday night over the phone that the affected villages were Kubau and Unguwan Zakara.
According to Kakangi, the communities where the bandits allowed the locals to farm were part of an agreement.

The assault occurred around 2:00 p.m. He stated, “The bandits split into two groups and attacked the two villages simultaneously, killing scores of security personnel, including the Civil Defence Corps, police, vigilantes, and soldiers.”
It was learned that a Kaduna hospital housed the deceased’s bodies.
The police had not yet responded to the incident, but a spokesperson for the Civil Defence Corps’ Kaduna Command stated that a statement would be issued on Tuesday.
