Peter Obi, the leader of the Labour Party (LP), responded on Monday to claims made by members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) that the recent presidential election victory of Bola Tinubu should be accepted as God’s will.

However, in a post-election interview with Arise Television that was monitored by TRIBUNE ONLINE, Obi criticized the First Lady for stating that God’s wish is to act in the right way rather than the other way around.
He responded emphatically when asked if he would accept Tinubu’s victory as God’s will, as some religious leaders had rightly claimed; They are actually preaching about Nigeria’s problem.
