Nigeria Is On a Path of Destruction Under Buhari Govt – Bishop Kukah

The Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Matthew Kukah, has cautioned that Nigeria is stepping a risky way under the Muhammadu Buhari government since youngsters feel debilitated.

Naija News reports that the pastor expressed this while talking at an occasion coordinated by The Kukah Center and Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA).

As indicated by Bishop Kukah, majority rule government and fascism can’t exist together as one as to give way for the other.

“This is a hazardous way we are stepping. Our youngsters are feeling undermined,” he said.

“We are confronted with a country that is burning-through its own youngsters, we are confronted with the possibilities of a dubious future. It is unthinkable, even the most noticeably terrible adversary of Nigeria couldn’t have ever pondered that this is the place where we will be.”

Kukah expressed that Nigerians in 2023 should choose somebody with the scholarly limit and comprehension to deal with the country.

He said: “Majority rules system isn’t an activity embraced by great people, which is the thing that Nigerians have consistently succumbed to — that we are searching for blessed men, men of uprightness, men of pride to oversee us and we expect that dealing with a different Nigeria doesn’t need some degree of profound scholarly reflection and comprehension on the intricacy in dealing with a general public so lively.

“This is a hazardous way we are stepping. Our youngsters are feeling undermined. We are confronted with a country that is devouring its own kids, we are confronted with the possibilities of an unsure future.”
