ASUU vs FG: No sincerity, no accountability responsible for crisis – Kwankwaso

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential candidate Rabiu Kwankwaso has stated that sincerity and accountability are at the heart of the ongoing dispute between the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
At the presidential town hall series hosted by Arise Television yesterday, Kwankwaso disclosed this.
He said that fighting corruption in the education sector is important because it will make sure that everything works.
Sincerity, honesty, and accountability are at the heart of the entire ASUU controversy.Due to our fair treatment of their schools, our State ASUU branches excused themselves from the strike while I was governor.We will guarantee that everyone will receive their allowances and salaries.
Our administration believes that investing as much money as possible in education is the best course of action.Since corruption is the primary issue, it must be addressed.The sector’s effectiveness will be ensured by combating corruption, he stated.
