Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, have began a process to deploy at least 800 Fulani vigilantes to Southeast, SAHARA NEWS learnt.
The group which disclosed this on Saturday in Enugu through its chieftain, Gerau Hankurau, said the process will involve security agents in the region.
“It is a matter of security, if these people come down here they will help the police and military fish out the violent herdsmen, and even other criminals in the southeast,” said Hankurau.
“We have began the process to bring them down here, very soon the first batch of 800 will be here and things will get better,” he added.
