Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Crown Uzama popularly known as Shallipopi, has returned to social media after a court convicted him for internet fraud.The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested him and five others at various locations in Kaduna upon intelligence received by the Command.
The anti-graft agency secured the conviction of the accused persons on Friday, June 23 after arraigning them before Justice A. Isiaka on separate one count charges bordering on criminal impersonation.
Justice Isiaka sentenced the defendants to two years imprisonment each with the option of fines.
After Shallipopi paid the fine and regained his freedom, he took to his Twitter account to announce his return to the microblogging platform.
The ‘Elon Musk’ crooner shared some photos of himself and wrote; “Evian is Active? #plutopresidoisback”
Olamide who took notice of his tweet, welcomed him back by referencing his nickname.
“Pluto boi !” the YBNL founder wrote.
