The Enugu State Government has expressed its appreciation to the UK Government for establishing a visa center within the state, which will facilitate visa applications for residents in both the state and the South-east region. This announcement was made in a statement released by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Chidiebere Onyia, in Enugu. The establishment of this visa center fulfills one of the requests made by Governor Peter Mbah during the visit of the UK High Commissioner to Nigeria, Richard Montgomery, to the Government House in Enugu in June. The Enugu State Government welcomes this development, viewing it as a means to strengthen economic partnerships and cultural exchanges between the state and the UK. The government encourages residents, particularly those in the South-east, to take advantage of this opportunity to submit their visa applications within the state. Additionally, the government commits to enhancing security for both residents and visitors engaged in business within the state, emphasizing that Enugu is open for business and investment.
