Wike’s Integrity Group: PDP has lost it all – Arewa Youths

There are signs that the conflict between Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike and Atiku Abubakar, the flagbearer of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, will have an impact on the party’s chances of returning to power three months before the 2023 presidential election.
Yerima Shettima, the National President of the Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, AYCF, bolstered this position.
Following the PDP National Chairman’s refusal to resign, the G-5 governors, now known as the Integrity Group and led by Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, formed an alliance against Atiku.
Atiku’s refusal to nominate Wike as his running mate and the latter’s inability to persuade Ayu to resign as PDP National Chairman were the primary causes of Wike’s initial complaint.
The integrity group emphasized that the PDP cannot have the same zone as its National Chairman.
The Wike-drove bunch had sent off what they called the uprightness bunch, focusing on that they are available to compromise with the PDP’s initiative.
Jonah Jang, a former Governor of Plateau State, had hinted that the party would resolve all disagreements before the 2023 elections.
Jang stated,At this meeting, we have decided to stick with the decisions we made at the previous meeting in Port Harcourt. We reiterate once more that our great party, the PDP, still has room for reconciliation.
However, Shettima, the AYCF National President, stated that reconciliation cannot improve the PDP and Atiku’s chances of winning in 2023.
Shettima insisted that the crisis would have an effect on Atiku’s chances of winning the elections in February.
He noted that those in charge of Atiku’s crisis management performed poorly; As a result, the party would lose the election.
Shettima emphasized to DAILY POST that the party would lose regardless of reconciliation efforts.
Shettima claims that:Even if they are reconciling today, it can’t be like it was from the start, so there’s no question about whether it will affect Atiku or not because it already has.
“Leadership sometimes involves responsibility; As long as they can add value to your life, you must at least respect them, regardless of how much you underestimate them. The supervisors of the emergency with respect to Atiku need to accomplish more.
Therefore, regardless of whether they reconcile now, it has already affected him.Under typical conditions, on the off chance that they were friendly with those five lead representatives, including Wike, the game could never have been how it is.Due to the delay in reconciling, some of them have said things that they can’t go back and swallow. It would have been very obvious that the conflict would be serious.
“It is a negative signal on the part of Atiku and the PDP as a whole, regardless of whether they reconcile now or not.Even if they return today, the damage has already been done. If men of wisdom and sincerity had been brought on board to resolve the issue, this could have been avoided.
