You are irrelevant without your father’s name – Peter Okoye slams Seun Kuti

Peter Okoye, A Nigerian singer, has stated that Seun Kuti, a Nigerian musician and the youngest son of the Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo Kuti, is irrelevant without his father’s name in light of the ongoing disagreements regarding political support in the elections of 2023.

In a series of posts posted on his Twitter account on Wednesday, Peter slammed Seun.

Seun’s characterization of Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi as an opportunist sparked trouble.

Peter Okoye had rushed to Obi’s defense, which sparked a debate that resulted in Seun accusing him and his twin brother of running for president in 2015 with Buhari.

Peter responded, “We PSQUARE have never previously campaigned for any Presidential candidates, with the exception of PETER OBI.” Yes, we performed for President Buhari at his 2015 inauguration. Already the President, he was! Go and check.

“Even though my late father was a nobody, the OKOYES are now known by everyone. Dude, I’ll see if you’re still relevant if you try to get rid of “KUTI” from your name.

“Stay in that local SHRINE while others like us continue to excel globally,” The shameless cannot be shamed.
